I am trying to install Win98se on my new (9/23/06) IMAC 2 gigahertz Dual core. I bought the Win 98se off ebay and it doesn't have a startup disk. I read other posts and have created a startup disk from my old PC which is also running 98se. So now I have the startup disk files which I moved across the network onto the Mac. But how do you turn it into a .fdd or a .hdd for that matter? I have played with it for hours unsucessfully.

    Thanks,
    Lee

    Ben,
Thanks for the reply. I didn't see that post. I have since got it running. Parallels crashed the Mac every time I tried to hit the start VM button. I ended up getting 1940 and then everything went swimmingly. What I was trying to figure out was, how did you make the .fdd image with dos on it? I only found greyed out boxes during the setup procedure.

    Thank you.

    Lee
