In PDE10/PDE11, can we specify the http://download.parallels.com/desktop/v10/appliances.xml file to be a different location and content (rather than attempting to intercept the traffic) ? The PDEMassDeployment KB and resources (http://kb.parallels.com/en/120093) lets you bundle images within the distribution payload however we distribute this using Managed Software Center ('MSC' - Munki2) and we have quite a few images so can become quite fat. We can provide "optional installs" for PDE in MSC to bring down packages, but it strikes us as far more user friendly to expand (does that panel scroll to the left?) the appliances xml and let PDE do the check-summing and right placement/permissions etc. We would potentially have 2-3 dozen images, but since we would host them in our own Nginx/Apache which is load-balanced etc, each user can saturate their 300Mbps 5Ghz when in the building and not strain the PDE services (we'll have quite a few hundred users...) We're using 10.10.3 and PDE 10.1.3 (28868) right now, and are about to start testing PDE11Beta2.
