Crackling Popping Audio on M1 Mac Studio / Windows 11

    There are a lot of posts on this, but have not found any solution that works. Is there a fix?

    Try this command line: sudo renice -n -20 $(pgrep prl_vm_app)
    Also, in System -> Sound -> Properties, change Output settings to 24 bit, 48Khz (studio quality)
    This workaround seems to work for me.
