    Hi

First of all - WOW! I have a PPC powerbook and as soon as I saw this web site I ran out and bought an Intel Mac Mini (Core Duo 1.66GB, 1GB)

First impressions of parallels are great - I've installed Win2k3 server with only one issue - it hung first time round at "Installing Network" but I rebooted and the install restarted and completed.

Parallels tools installed OK and I have slightly better use of the mouse now but it's not quite up to vmware standard yet.

The only real issue I've seen so far is that Parallels seems to sit at about 30% CPU usage on my host system even when the guest OS is idle.

I get the message about VT not being enabled in the BIOS which has been reported here by someone else, and I'm apparently running Software Mode 2 emulation.

I can't find the release notes - so maybe these are known issues. I am perfectly happy to help Parallels test new code as I really did just buy this mac for vm testing.

    Cheers
    James
