    Hi.
I would like to purchase a Mac, but before doing so, I want to verify one important thing.

I want to be able to copy vector images or diagrams from Parallels (say a scientific software that will be running on Windows XP) and paste it to the Illustrator in Mac OS. I know this is possible for text and images, with drag and drop as well. I want to be able to copy-paste the diagrams to Mac OS without saving the vector in a file and then open it in Mac OS.

Is this possible and how please.
This is very important for me and without it I cannot proceed to the purchase.
I will be copying spectra from mass spectrometry software running in Windows XP and I will be pasting them in Illustrator in Mac to make figures.

Any help will be extremely valuable.
    many thanks.

Hello, copying vector images and diagrams from a Parallels VM to Mac OS would become available with the next version of Parallels Desktop.

    Thanks.
It's nice to know that it's not possible.
    Major drawback though...

Since Mac's cannot run scientific software in Mac OSX, this is something that has to be fixed.
    New version is expected when?
