When I am trying to copy a table (all formatted) in word *within the same document* inside an XP VM, it seems that word posts the data to the clipboard but it somehow doesn't retain its 'tableness', when I paste it is pasted as plain text and I need to convert it back to a table again. On the same document and on the same OS on my laptop (non-VM) the behavior is correct, i.e, I can copy/paste a table and it retains its format. Note, I am not trying to copy outside of the VM or even outside of the word application. Mouse based copy/paste and keyboard yield the same results (they both transfer data to the windows clipboard so this makes sense) There are a number of threads that discuss issues with losing formatting between Mac applications and windows and vice versa, however, this is all occuring within the VM and inside word. I'm running build 5608, i have the latest parallel tools installed etc etc. Thanks in advance for any insight. -Fred
