Control virtual machine from sccm through parallels

Hi..

I'm in a enterprise environment where we have a couple of hundreds of Windows machines, and only 2 macs, so therefore no experience with Parallels.
On those macs we have installed Parallels and a virtual windows 7.

When we try to connect to those virtual Windows from the SCCM server either push or file browser or ping or anything normal with a windows machine, we don't get any answer from that computer. It's like its not existing.
Is it possible that the trafic to the virtual client is beeing rejected by the MAC (firewall/settings/parallels settings) or is it something on the virtual client that needs to be accepted before it will work?

Hi Steffen, most likely your VMs use Shared Network settings, which means Windows running inside those VMs have private IP addresses assigned by Parallels Desktop. There is an experimental feature in Parallels Mac Management that help with enrolling Windows VMs (in Shared Network mode) into SCCM. Take a look at the "

You may be able to manage SCCM in Shared Mode, but you will not get optimal content distribution as you will have to assign the NAT "Subnet" to a boundary group which won't be based on the actual network location of the device. I need to do more testing to see of the Peer Content works.
