I have been reading forum and manual and cant understand the exact steps to swap the Control/Command key.

I want the apple key to always be the apple key even in Parallels Windows

    How to?

What about the bugs people mention on the forum?

    Does it actually even work???

    OS X 10.5.6
    Parallels 4.0.3552

Apple key? You mean the Command key?

On my installation, the Command key does function as the Windows key in Parallels and the Control key functions as it should in Windows...

I can assure you, Parallels does work as advertised (at least on this Mac mini) - I do wonder about the number of people that ARE experiencing problems with Parallels...

In my case, I built my virtual machine from scratch on the Mac using a retail copy of XP Pro SP2 (hologrammed disc).

I don't know for sure, but I have to wonder how many of those with problems used Transporter to pull a image of an OEM specific copy of Windows (Dell, HP, etc.) into Parallels...

I recently upgraded from Parallels 3.0 to 4.0 and the Command/Cntrl swap feature doesn't seem to work on my upgraded Windows XP virtual machine. (e.g. Command - X does not translate to Control-X)

I've checked the preference in Parallels and even reset it to the 'factory defaults' but it does not appear to be working on my virtual Windows XP machine.
