    Good afternoon --

I've searched in this forum and on Google, but I can't find a way to provide a consistent volume level between my OS X host and my Win7 x64 VM. I have the volume set to maximum in the VM but I still have to turn up the physical speaker's volume to hear something in Windows. After listening to audio on the Windows VM, I have to turn the speaker volume back down before listening to sound on the OS X side or risk blowing my ear drums.

I'd prefer to have the volume the same regardless of whether the source is OS X or Win7 VM.

And, no, I don't try to listen to sound from both OS X and Win7 at the same time.

    Thanks,
    Michael

Have you adjusted the volume levels in Windows? It sounds like you've got them set too low.

Levels are not linked between the VM and Mac OS, so you need to adjust levels in Windows for the VM.
