    Hi all!

Is there an easy way to configure that Parallels allows/forwards connections form outside (Internet) in to a virtual machine (i.e. Win XP)?

I.e.: Route every TCP/IP traffic on Port 8080 form the Internet to the virtual Win XP.

Port forwarding in the router works well, but what must be set up in OS X and Parallels to get this working? (NAT? But where to configure?)

Thanks a lot for every helpful hint
    maruan.

From the best of my knowledge the only way to do this would be to used Bridged Ethernet. That way, your virtual machine acts like a dedicated, seperate machine from the router's persepective and will be assigned it's own IP address which you can use to forward traffic using different ports.

I could make a humerous comment regarding Windows security and open ports, but that's another matter entirely ;).
