I'm sure this must have been answered before but the forum search didn't turn up anything. I am running Windows 7 Enterprise in Parallels 4 and for the most part it's been working well. I'm using it for development, however, and need to be able to connect from the Mac to a server running in Windows. I've tried a bridged network and host-only network without any success and am trying to figure out what the secret formula is. Ideally I'd like to be able to use both depending on where I'm working, but at this point I'll take either.

Windows has no problem connecting to the internet via shared networking and bridged networking and bridged networking is assigning a unique IP to Windows. Connecting to that IP in Windows works properly (I'm using IIS to test) but the Mac can't find it.

Any suggestions? Is this even possible?

Try to disable firewall in windows
then try to ping Win-ip from Mac, does it work? If it doesn't, then I'd want to see
ipconfig from Windows, ifconfig from Mac and ping command..

It doesn't matter what type of networking is used in Win, providing that Bridged IP is correct..
