    Hi there,

I like the ability to create a Virtual Lion to enable using some applications in a different language (from the default OS language).
However when I choose the option of creating such a VM from the Recovery Partition and selecting the "Reinstall Mac OS-X" option, I get the window where I can choose the Harddisk where to install.
I Can choose from "Recovery HD" (which is Locked) or the "Machintosh HD" which looks like my Hosts HD from the size.
    The screen looks like:

This is where I'm confused as Parallels Desktop created a "Mac OS X.pvm" file in Parallel's default directory.
I want to prevent overwriting my main installation!

    Anyone any ideas?

    Regards,
    Rob

As long as you are creating a VM inside of Parallels your Host installation is safe. All VMs are created as files on your hard drive - in this case Mac OS X.pvm. The "hard drive" that you will be installing to will be inside the Mac OS X.pvm file (right-click and choose Show Package Contents to see the files - including the .hdd file.)
