Configuration suggestions to run VS2010 in multi-monitor & performance

    Hi there,

I have a macbook pro 15 mid 2012 (non retina) with 16GBytes RAM and 512GB SSD and want to get maximum performance out of windows apps (mainly Visual Studio 2010, which is a CPU hog). I also want to run on multiple external monitors.

I am new to mac's and parallels but so far both look excellent :)

Which is better for me - to run Win7 in a virtual machine full screen, or to install Win7 to bootcamp and get Parallels to take over that? I hear that bootcamp VMs run faster, is this true? Can I share files between MacOS and Win7 if installed to a bootcamp VM? And finally, how do I set this up? I've successfully installed Win7 in a virtual machine (non bootcamp) with file sharing and it works great, just not sure about the bootcamp option,

    Many thanks,
