Back in 2006 I asked a question about how to launch a Parallels VM from the command line so that I could manipulate pmset prior to launch and after quitting the VM. You can read about it here: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=5075 I am now using Parallels 6. I want to do the same thing. Unfortunately I can't figure out how to launch my Parallels VM like I did in the previous thread. I tried using ‘open VM’, were VM is the shortcut that was created when I created the VM. The open shortcut method does launch the VM, but the script does not pause and exits right away. Thus defeating the purpose of this script. Any thoughts on how to launch the Parallels 6 VM, within my script, so that control is not returned to the script until after the VM is shut down? Dragon Dictate in use. Occasionally mistakes are made. I correct the ones I notice…
