Just ordered Parallels and Windows, and reading up on how to set it up.

As near as I can tell, setting up "Like a Mac" will install Win7 with a single Administrator user, then link my Mac account to the Administrator account in the Win7 VM. (I could be all wet here -- just reading through the docs and the forum).

I would rather set up a regular user in windows (have it match my Mac username) and run with that.

    Would this make sense:
    - Install up Parallels
    - Set up a windows VM "like a PC"
    - Log into windows and create a new user who is not administrator -- call it "Chris"
    - In windows, log in as the standard user "Chris"
    - While windows is logged in as this user, switch parallels to Coherence mode

Would the above procedure link the non-administrative windows user's home directory to my Mac's home directory, etc?

Also, when I try to install software in Windows, will I get the standard UAC prompts? (This is what I want).

Many thanks, and sorry if this is a dupe.
