Hello, I'd really really really like to get coherence to work for once in Parallels. I've installed Parallels tools over and over again over the years and it just doesn't work for me. Specifically individual windows programs DO NOT show up in the mac dock. I am only using Parallels for outlook so it is important to see if any new mail comes in that way with the dock icon. Please tell me how to get this to work once and for all. The problem described in the knowledgebase doesn't work and only applies to Parallels 7 and 8. I don't use Outlook so I don't know for sure if it's dock icon can be made to indicate incoming mail, but you can try the following: Go to: Virtual Machine -> Configure... -> Options -> Sharing -> Applications enable: Share Windows applications with Mac Dock icons bounce to alert disable: Show Dock icons in Coherence only (so that you can see the dock icons even when you're not using Coherence). optional: Show Windows applications folder in Dock
