I have Solaris 10 x86 running on a MacBook Core2Duo with Parallels Descktop build 3188. The system clock within Solaris seems totally screwy. I'm used to system clocks on PCs skewing a bit *fast* over long periods of time, but this is the opposite. It takes about 2 or 3 seconds of "real time" for the Solaris clock to advance by 1 second. I can reset the time using the System Management Controller, but that doesn't fix the problem. I suppose I could try running a Network Time Protocol client with a very fast refresh time, but I'd rather figure out why the basic system time is not proceeding correctly. Any ideas?
