Has anyone tried to use the Client as a kiosk (ie set the shell as the 2x client). I am trying to setup machine like a kiosk in our plant so that they just have the 2x client windows and then what ever application they open after that but nothing else, no start menu, no clock, nothing. So far I have a msi installer pushed out via group policy for sso as well as other fun options to basically lock down the installer and I have a program setup as the shell that watches to make sure that the 2x client app does not close or if it does restart it. My problem is that every time the 2x client starts is gives me an message about the tray icon not being able to register. This makes sense since there is not a tray for it to register to. I was also looking at setting up the java client however it does not give me the ability to essentially freeze the the configuration like the actual client does. Also, if I use the java client it still has to install the 2x local client to work just the web site. This is all very frustrating as some things don't work like one would expect sso and other things to work. Anyway, Please if anyone has any ideas I could really use them right about now.
