I start my VM using CLI "prlctl start Ubuntu". The configuration file of the VM specifies that my USB HDD is to be connected to the VM and not to the host. However, this works only if the App Parallels Desktop is running. If Parallels Desktop is not running, I can ssh into the VM, but I can't find a way to connect the USB HDD to the VM.

The command "prlsrvctl info" reveals the device (usb USB to ATA/ATAPI Bridge 'fd100000|152d|2339|high|--|101822DFFFFF'), but I can't connect it to the VM.

    What am I missing?
