Hi, It would be nice if Parallels Workstation supported Cisco VPN Software. I tried to use it on a Windows XP image running from on my Macintosh without any luck. I tried to connect via bridged ethernet and wifi using NAT. In any case cool stuff. I look forward to future releases.
Agree with suggestions... I use my OS X system to connect during the day to work with the Cisco VPN (without the "allow local LAN access" enabled). When I'm connected to the VPN my Parallels VMs are "cut off" from everything -- they show the "non-VPN" IP address, but packets tunnel into Cisco's software and get eaten. I would like to see that when the OS X system is connected via the Cisco VPN that either: a) The Windows machine running inside Parallels Workstation can also access the systems at the end of the VPN ("be a part of that network" [sharing the connection]) b) Allow access to local things/internet but not be "on the VPN" (bypass the Cisco VPN stack) I don't care which, there are pros and cons to each (okay, I probably *prefer* option ), but right now, getting either one or the other to work would be a great step forward and make Parallels ***MUCH*** more useful to me.
