Good evening. I've just installed Parallels on my Mack Book Pro. So far it's great! As a matter of fact, I'm posting this from Windows running on my MBP right now. I do have a couple of questions. When I go to full screen mode, Windows does not take up the whole screen. Also, the resolution is not that sharp. My questions: 1. How do I (or even can I) get Windows to use all the screen on my MBP when in full screen mode? 2. How do i change the resolution of Windows? Do I do it as I normally do in Windows or is there something else I should do? Thanks for the help.
You will need to change your resolution in WIndows to the native resolution of the Mac. If you do that, then go to full screen mode it will work great. Using Virtue allows virtual screens. I use Virtue to give me a full screen Windows display that I can switch to. Kent
Enable checkbox - Parallels Workstation -> Preferences -> User interface -> Change Mac OS X Resolution. When it enabled, then PW automatically switch guest to native host resolition in fullscreen.
Actually, what I've observed was that this checkbox must be turned OFF if PW is to automatically switch the guest's resolution to match the host. This makes sense, since effectively, Mac OS X's resolution ISN'T changed.
