The person who selected your phone support audio loop needs to be locked in a 4' x 4' concrete prison cell with a speaker playing the audio loop over and over, at least for the 3 hours of my life wasted today listening to this. Barring that I would settle for personally breaking his/her toes one by one with a ball-peen hammer at random intervals while telling him/her "I care about your pain, please continue to hold and your issue with be dealt with eventually". For the 20.95 I paid for the privilege of getting on your phone tree you could have paid the ASCAP royalty for the right to play something else... or silence, silence works, the old Nortel Meridian system will play silence with a sporadic audio tone/beep at about 15 second intervals to tell you the phone line is still live. And one more thing, never use the words "We are working hard to answer your call" when the person on the other end of the phone has been on the line for more than 10 minutes, and has been hung-up on previously. If your phone system is unable to hold a queued call longer than 20 minutes your disconnect message should not simply say "Please call back later...."
