I love the idea of using Chameleon as the boot loader when virtualizing OS 10.7. I have a lot of experience using Chameleon in my Hackintosh at home. But I want to upload my own version and use my own .kext files. Does anyone know if I can change the version of Chameleon that Parallels 7 uses? Where does Parallels store the Chameleon partition anyway?
Um... you're joking, right? http://www.parallels.com/support/desktop/licensing/ http://netkas.org/?p=951 http://tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=134&t=30880
Apparently, I am. Have you tried looking for it inside the VM with partition utilities or gpt -r show -l ...?
Yeah, I have. The thing is that it boots the initial Lion installer using Chameleon. It seems like it mounts a virtual drive somewhere else.
