Please also show the output of "ls -la /dev | grep scd0" What Linux distributive version are you using? Did the CD drive work for Parallels Workstation before and when stopped working if it did? Is it SCSI drive? I'm also moving the thread to the more appropriate forum.
The CDROM works fine still...I just get that message when I power on. If a CD is in the drive, I do not get the message.
