CD ROM Error

Has anyone received the attached error before?

 

Did you change anything?

 

Please post the results of "ls -la /dev | grep sr0"

 

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 2007-08-03 08:06 sr0 -> scd0

 

Please also show the output of "ls -la /dev | grep scd0"
What Linux distributive version are you using?
Did the CD drive work for Parallels Workstation before and when stopped working if it did? Is it SCSI drive?

I'm also moving the thread to the more appropriate forum.

 

The CDROM works fine still...I just get that message when I power on. If a CD is in the drive, I do not get the message. I am using Ubuntu 7.04.

I got the same problem. Using Ubuntu 7.04 too.
