I am using Windows XP on Parallels 4.0 with Leopard (latest updates on iMac 20 inch).

If resuming XP with the Cap lock ON, I am never sure whether caps lock is actually ON or OFF. It seems that if I resume XP with the caps lock OFF, all is well and the logic follows normally ie caps lock ON with keyboard light ON and caps lock OFF with keyboard light out. If however I resume XP with the caps lock ON, I need to continue in XP with caps lock ON (opposite logic) for lower case. This is most annoying when entering a password where upper / lower case is considered.

Anyone else have that problem ?

Would have thought that the VM would read the keyboard and adopt the true status of the caps lock button, even after resuming from a suspended state.

Read a bit more on the internet and tried a few more things, but this seems to be an issue with suspending Parallels.

If one suspends Parallels with caps lock OFF and resume with caps lock ON then reversed logic seems to follow, you will type upper case with caps OFF and vice versa (even rebooting Windows does not help).

    Anyone have a solution?
