When I try to Suspend or Quit Parallels desktop I get an error banner stating: "My Boot Camp uses an NTFS - formatted Boot Camp partition and cannot be suspended" "Software allowing reading and writing to NTFS partitions has been found on your MAC. To be able to suspend My Boot Camp, remove any such software from your MAC" Has anyone seen this error before and how would I identify the read/write software mentioned in the error message?? Any help would be great as currently I'm having to button my MAC to in order to shutdown Parallels!! I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7 with 16GB of RAM. Many thanks.
Hi MikeBr, Windows running from Boot Camp has the following limitations: 1. It can't be paused 2. It can't be saved as a snapshot 3. It can't run in Safe Mode 4. It can't be compressed I would suggest to shut down Windows and, also change settings from Virtual Machine =>Configure=>Options=>Start up and Shut Down. To know how to get to the Virtual Machine configuration follow this article: http://kb.parallels.com/117287 Thanks, Looran
