I've just installed a Samsung printer on my home network. In order to administer the printer and many of its functions, you must install software on a PC (go figure) and log into the printer, which should appear automatically in the software, or you can physically input the IP address if not. The Parallels PC (XP) doesn't see it. The Mac does see it and you can print to it. What's going on here? I've tried turning off the firewall in XP as well as inputing IP addresses to no avail.

I'm having similar problems. I have a mac with parallels running windows xp. I'm also on my own home network. My HP L7580 office jet printer is connected to the network via an ethernet cable because USB wouldn't work. I installed the bonjour wizard and ran it. It seems like the printer is setup. However, when I try to print from Quickbooks it acts like it printed, but nothing prints. No error messages. Can someone help?? I'm new to macs and networks, so this is really pushing my intelligence!!
