Build 3036... I have a dual-monitor system. I have Different Desktop resolutions set up in Plls that span across the two screens (or, at least, they used to). Now, when I try and choose one from [Desktop] Properties>Settings, they always spring back to some generic setting and the Plls window is confined to one monitor only. I really need my extra desktop space. I'm loath to try later versions because of reported problems with Wacom tablets / drivers. Anyone know what's going on? TIA
Parallels Desktop can split two displays in the Coherence mode only. You can't change resolution insige guest OS to use 2 displays.
Sorry, Alex, but my experience suggests otherwise... If I put Plls in Coherence mode, I can't drag windows onto the second monitor -- they simply disappear. In Windowed mode, I can't set the Desktop to span across two monitors -- however I have been able to do this in the past -- I was running a 1960x960 desktop across two monitors with no problems. Has this behaviour changed with a new build?
spetznatz, I suggest you to install build 3188 (where many issues with multiple displays are fixed) and update Parallels Tools to 3188 version.
