Suddenly yesterday, after working for several years, I can no longer print any WordPerfect documents out of the Windows guest OS. I'm running Parallels 6.0.12092 with the Windows Guest using XP Pro and WordPerfect X3, etc.. I have not updated any programs on the Windows guest except for anti-virus (Avast Pro). I keep that desktop walled off from the internet as I have no intention of ever updating Windows again (which is why I haven't updated Parallels 6). The only program allowed access to the internet is Avast Pro. Everything worked perfectly until yesterday. I can print out of Quattro Pro X3. Therefore, it doesn't appear to be an X3 suite program. I've checked all my settings in WordPerfect which appear okay. The Brother monolaser printer is the default and its settings appear okay. The problem lights on the printer indicate a paper jam, but that is NOT the problem at all! I can publish documents to pdf, but because they open on the Mac from which everything prints on the laser normally, this doesn't prove anything. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the laser printer which prints everything from the Mac side, as well as out of other programs. With almost the same setup, my husband can print out of WordPerfect to the laser with no problem. Does anybody have any suggestions? I'm baffled and have been working on this problem since yesterday. Fixed! The problem turned out to be that of WordPerfect. Thanks to WordPerfect Universe for the fix: refreshing of PrintEngine. Evidently, the four sheets of Avery labels I printed last week caused a malfunction within the PrintEngine. Editing the page setup was insufficient so registry backup/regedit and refresh of Corel's print engine was required. TobyT
