Can't print from Win 7 virtual machine

Hi! I'm running snow leopard on my mac with an an epson printer attached that works fine on the osx side. I'm running Win 7 64 bit in a Bootcamp partition which I use in a Parallels Desktop virtual machine. Everything works fine except for printing. I've connected the printer to Printer Port 1 in the virtual machine, but no printing.

When I boot into the same bootcamp partition using bootcamp, printing works fine. But when I use parallels, nothing prints. I've tried installing the drivers from Epson within the virtual machine, but that does not work.

Can anyone help?
