I've been told that you can't load a virtual machine in Parallels if the hard drive image is on a network drive. I can't imagine that this would be difficult to change. Why this limitation? Is there a plan to allow this in the near future? Given the very popular Macbook starts with as little as 60gig, already have Mac OS on it, try to install Vista on Parallels, maybe WinXP, maybe Linux and you very quickly run out of space on the hard drive. Seems natural to expect a network drive to alieviate the space contrain, however it doesn't work with Parallels. This will become more of the problem as people use their virtual machines more. I tried accessing the network drive via a Samba mount from a Windows machine. Does the file sharing protocol make a difference? Does Appletalk shares work better? Thanks
