Just created a new VM (Parallels 1922), installed XP on it (on Mac Pro, 10.4.8, 4GB..)

Go to install Parallels tools from VM menu and...nothing happens. The install wizard doesn't appear.

Check back under the VM menu and tere's a "Cancel Installation of Parallels Tools" where "install PTs..." used to be...but that's it. Nothing happens.

It worked on the other VM (Different XP version), and it also worked with this same XP on the new iMac, no problem...

Without Parallels tools, I can't work with the VM.

    All suggestions gratefully appreciated...

I had a similar problem with Parallels build 1970 and a Win98SE VM. MacPro 2GBytes, 10.4.8 . When I first tried to install 1970 over 1920 it was failing, and I had to roll right back to 1848 with legacy mode turned on to get anything to install. For no apparent reason, the 1970 installation has now succeeded. But now it wouldn't do Parallels tools. Later in the day I tried again, and it installed!

There seem to be some strange time-dependent effects associated with Parallels installation!

When copy/pasting it still only transfers the first character on the OS X clipboard into Win98SE, though :(
