I scored a nearly new 27" Intel iMac running Lion and tried to migrate my copy of Parallels 6 to the new machine. It tells me that it can't instal since the mac is not an intel machine. It is, of course, so I tried uninstalling the program from the disk. Then it tells me that Parallels is not even installed. It gets better. Since I migrated all my content from the older mac, the program is indeed there and the dock still has the icon. When I launch Parallels from the doc, the program opens and then tells me firt that the machine may run slow without hardware virtualization turned on, and then offers a second error msg telling me that the Parallels driver could not be loaded. What could be going on here? Can't uninstall, can't launch the program already on there, and the install disk thinks the mac is not Intel. Suggestions?

The version of PDM6 you installed is most likely not a version compatible with Lion, download the latest PDM6 from the links in my signature.
