    Hello
I am on a free trial of Parallels 6. I migrated from a windows 7 PC to an iMac OSX 10.6 using parallels 6. The reason is so I can run Coreldraw X5 on my Mac. Everything is working fine except one major problem, - If i try to acquire an image scanned in my Canon MP560 printer/scanner, I get the message that the scanner is not connected. Printing is fine, so the printer is obviously connected to my Mac, but for some reason, Coreldraw X5 inside Parallels is not picking up the scanner part of the printer/scanner. I have no idea how to fix this.
When the window "select source" opens after I click on acquire, the default printer is my MP560 printer, but that is wrong, because when I print (which is successful) Coreldraw/Parallels chooses "Mac printer" as the default i.e parallels gives my printer a different identity to when I use it just for Mac - in Mac the identity is "MP560" I think I need to do something that will change the printer/scanner identity when scanning to "Mac printer" instead of "MP560".

    Can anyone suggest anything?

    Thanks
