Cant even install Big Sur, Parallels 16

As above, choose install, picks up .app, creates virtual disk, apple logo on black background, then nothing appears to happen??

Any ideas, host OS is macOS 10.15.6

 

Same issue. Running host 10.15.6 on a Macbook Pro 16", core i9, 64gb RAM, 2TB SSD.

 

So left it for ages and it eventually installs, but the performance (video) is dire so I wouldn't bother until they get that sorted out.

 

Thanks for the update! Nice to know there's at least a workaround if needed. I might try updating the virtual hardware to see if that improves post-install performance. The default settings seem low (2gb of RAM, 2 vCPUs)
