Ever since the last patch came out, I am unable to connect to my network/Internet. I never had this problem before this patch. I searched the forums and found this: "For others with this issue, support finally got back to me. The solution is to reset TCP/IP: To do it, please open Command Prompt in Windows (Start > Run.. > type 'cmd' > OK) And enter following command: netsh winsock reset Restart Windows and use next command: netsh int ip reset reset.log Restart Windows once again." Well, the good news is, that worked, BUT after a reboot of the Mac it doesn't work again unless I go through the above process again. Every morning when I boot my Mac and Parallels I have to do this to get network connectivity. This is a pain in the neck and is too time consuming to do every morning. I need a permanent fix. I have already tried uninstalling Parallel tools and reinstalling...this did not work. Any Ideas? I am desperate for a solution as this is my work machine. I am currently using a Macbook Pro with OS 10.6, Parallels 5.0, and Windows 7 Professional...all are updated to the latest patches and updates. Thanks for the help!
Hi rgeorge67, this solution should have been applied in exact case - like by the user who originally posted it, whose TCP/IP settings have been broken. It is better to create support ticket at Parallels - for closer investigation of your exact case. You can create it here: http://www.parallels.com/support/request/. Or let me know and I can create one for you.
