First I had the unable to connect to VM port %1 problem. None of the attemp I tried work. Out of desperate, I uninstalled PW, reinstalled, now I am having a new problem.

I created a new VM, tried to boot it again from hd, it showed me below message; I changed to CD-R booting, same error.

The virtual machine being started is going to switch VMX mode on. Parallels Workstation has detected that VMX mode is already activated by another running application. If that application will stop VMX, the virtual machine may behave unpredictably.
Click Ok to start the virtual machine with VMX support, or click Cancel and edit VT-x settings.

    According to Help file:
When Installing on Non-empty Hard Disk

If you install a guest operating system onto a hard disk where guest OS was installed previously, you have to change booting sequence when configuring Virtual Machine for installation.

    * On the Booting Options tab of the General Options set boot sequence to [CD-ROM, Hard Disk, Floppy] or [Floppy, Hard Disk, CD-ROM], if you install from CD/DVD or floppy media respectively.

During installation when guest OS will be going to reboot for the first time, return boot sequence to booting from hard disk.

    * When Virtual Machine is off, set [Hard Disk, Floppy, CD-ROM] sequence, save settings and start the guest OS.

I tried, still get the same error. This is so furstrating!!!!

    Help please.
