I'm running XP Pro under Parallels on a Mac Mini Duo with 1Gb of memory. My daughter wanted to run "The SIMS" on the virtual PC. We installed the base CD and could run from it with no problems. She wanted to add an extension disc. That installed, and autobooted, without problems. When we tried to run the game, though, it complained that it couldn't find the CD! Anyone know what the heck is happening here? Dave
I have the Same Problem Hi, I have the Same Problem I tried cleaning the disks, running in wide screen mode, just about everything. I searched the Internet and it's not parallels that's the problem, It's sadly a problem with the Sims game itself. I have the Deluxe Edition and the Unleached expantion pack and they both gave me the same problem. One solution mentioned by a few is to pop in CD#2 then open it up from the menu Another Solution is to get a a no CD Crack which can be risky and I'm fairly sure illegal.
