I have windows 7 ultimate on a mac book pro with latest OS X. I have been using bridged wifi mode at home for over one year now as this is the only path to have direct access to my the HP LaserJet via wifi (especially when I need to scan to desktop directly).
after upgrading to parallels 11, I am not able to use bridged wifi mode anymore, and the only way to access internet within VM is shared mode. this puts the VM in a different IP range (10.211.55.xx) instead of the home network (10.20.10.xx) therefore I would not be able to access the wifi printer anymore.
does anyone have similar situation and can give me some tips on how to fix this?
I have gone through the KB's and tried to re-install tools, reset ipconfig, etc.
the only way to get it work with bridged wifi is to go into device manager and manually program IP, but this is inconvenient when the laptop is connecting to networks away from home.
the home network dhcp server is coming from a D-Link DSL-7740C router.
any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!! thanks!

    Hello @davidk10,
Please try this Devices> Network> Bridged> Default Adapter check this for more information and let us know how it works.

hi Dineshraj, I've already played with that.
the only way to get it working now is setting "alternative IP" in the VM IPX4. however, this takes a little longer time for windows to get internet access.
