Hello, I cannot revert to a snapshot that I created. My host computer is mac OS 14.5 using an M1 Max chip, and the virtual machine I am using is macOS 14.6 with virtual M1 Max chip. The image of the VM was newly created by download macOS via Parallels. I am running Parallels Version 20.1.0 (55732).
I have the same issue. Saved a snapshot a few weeks back and went to revert just now, nope, unable to revert. Any solution to this?
Check that Parallels Desktop has Full Disk Access permission in System Settings --> Privacy & Security.
Thanks @Daykan this was not set initially, but even after setting it when trying to revert a snapshot it's the same error "unable to revert to this snapshot"
Have you already tried with version 20.1.1? If it still doesn't work, I would open a ticket with Support.
I have Parallels Desktop version 20.1.0 (55732). Running updates from within the app says I have the latest version of Parallels Desktop. I am having the same issue, I cannot revert to any snapshot of Mac VM 14.6. Reverting of snapshot works fine for both Windows and Linux VMs, only Mac VM has the problem. Unfortunately, that makes it useless for us as we cannot do any work without snapshot reverting of Mac VM. Kindly please fix this asap. Thank you!
Hi @MuhammadB9, latest version of Parallels Desktop is 20.1.1 (55740), so I would start checking why the update is not offered to you. On which macOS version are you running PD? Do you have a valid license or subscription? Have you tried checking for updates on a different network?
Hi @Daykan, yes I have the valid license and got a ticket opened with your support team. My host OS version is 14.6.1 and I got the installer for 20.1.1 from ur team and upgraded it. But, still having the same problem with reverting snapshot.
