I have tried unistalling and reinstalling Parallels on this 20" iMac already and have the 3188 release. When I try to install a new VM with an XPSP2 disc parallels. I get to the screen that says, "Insert Windows XP installation CD into the CD/DVD-ROM reader and click "Finish" button to proceed." The finish button is flashing blue but does not recognize the click and parallels just sits there. The disc mounts on the Mac desk top but I cannot proceed beyond this point.

    Same problem

Wish I could help, but just posting to say I have the exact same problem. I had Parallels loaded, then migrated a g4 over to my Intel-chip laptop and ever since then couldn't run Parallels anymore. Reloaded and unloaded several times. No luck. Reloaded Tiger as well. No luck.

If I recall, when I loaded it successfully the first time when I put in a physical disc via Parallels it did NOT show up on my Mac desktop but DID get recognized via Parallels setup/install program. Now all it does is show up on my Mac desktop. I'm guessing that means something's wrong with the Parallel drivers?

    Any help/ideas appreciated!

    Yet Another

I regret to inform you that I am having the same problem.

I am trying to use BootCamp for my VM. I can get all the way to the end of the setup session in the Parallels OS Installation Assistant and the Finish Button is flashing but will not activate to complete the installation:confused:

    Please anyone help

    Same here

I am also in the same situation. The weird thing is I just bought a retail version of Parallels and it is different from the downloadable version. The retail version doesn't even have the option to Use BootCamp as a custom installation although the downloadable version does. So I am using the downloadable version and I am stuck in the same place. Did all the recommended steps in the previous post with no luck. Does anyone have a solution? From what I read on these boards, Parallels tech support is substandard so I have not called them yet, but right now I feel I have paid for a worthless piece of software.
