I'm just getting started. Evidently the default HDD is incorrect, as the above message is given when I try to run WinME setup. It also says "If you have HPFS or NTFS installed...you need to create an MSDOS boot partition". I'm just running the Wizard, using the default virtual hard drive. Drive C is there, but only 2 MB. It has boot files on it.

    More information.....

Drive C: appears as a 2 MB ramdisk. If I run FDISK, I can create a DOS partition and the partition map shows an 8GB capacity. But if I try to format drive C:, it says "Format not supported on drive C:".

Somehow the Parallels Wizard does not seem to be making a proper HDD image for Windows ME, though Windows ME is selected as the virtual type.
