Forgive me if this is elsewhere, but after two hours of searching and reading I'm unable to find an answer. It seems most others having trouble connecting to internet from guest OS are using Linux or wireless. That said, I cannot get my guest OS to connect to the interent. It receives a valid IP from the router and the router DHCP table shows the VM session is connected. From the guest OS I cannot access the router admin page from IE. When I ping the router or any other machine on the network from the guest OS the ping times out, depsite the apparent connectivity from the router and IP assignment. From the host OS I can successfully ping the guest OS, while no other machine on the network can successfully ping the guest OS. Environment Info I hope this isn't too much info, but I want to be thorough. Parallels will be used in my pc lab for software and network testing. I'm behind a Netgear router and a Netgear switch. I have MS SBS, WXP Pro, WXP Media Center, and Win98 in the lab. And I'm running Hamachi for VPN. Parallels is installed on my WXPMC machine (high end machine) and the Guest OS is WXP Pro. The guest OS works beautifully, runs fast as a bat out of Hell. If I can only get this internet connectivity thing licked I'll be in business. DHCP is handled by the router, not SBS. What I've tried I've tried bridged and host-only modes. Disabled all firewalls (OS and Router). Disabled all virus scanners. Tried using IP reservations. Installed the Parallels Toolkit. Restarted the router. Rebooted the host computer. Tried using VPN. And I've read dozens of sarcastic comments by Constant. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
