Cannot Boot From CD - Code: 5 ????

I'm trying to install Paralles and I keep getting this error message. All the settings seem to be correct. Am I doing something wrong? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. My WinXP cd works fine when I use it to install with boot camp.

I'm currently faceing the same problem with my WinXP SP2 Prof. CD.
The native installation via BootCamp was no problem but if I try to install a Parallel sesson I reveive the error message "Can not boot from CD: code 5"
Any ideas?

Please could somebody help from Parallels Support. Why can't I boot from CD?
This CD works fine on a PC and on a MAC with BootCamp.
Please Help!

 

How many memory reserved for guest OS?
What build do you use? Have you an original Windows disk?
Have you tried to make iso image of the disk and use it?

 

I used the default setting - 512MB mem. The CD is an Windows XP SP2 and on the MAC bootable.
