Cannot activate after migration

  1. Hello,
    I just migrated Parallels 11 (I know, old version, but properly licensed) to a new Mac. Reinstalled Parallels as suggested. Activation key is accepted (green checkmark) but then an error "Unable to Complete Operation" shows up. Trying to log out from the activation window menu also returns "Unable to log out". There is no other indication of what is going wrong. In previous posts, it seems it required a manual intervention?

  2. After moving the Mac to Sonoma it became obvious that Parallels 11 will never work on it. Since it's one of the last Macs supporting BootCamp, I went with that as a very convenient option. I'm relieved I don't need to deal with Parallels' bloat (a system-wide menu item??) anymore.
