Cannot access wireless Vista host and guest os

I am unable to access the wireless nic using vista home as host and vista ultimate as guest os. It shows up under devices for network along with the default adapter and the wired nic but nothing further comes of it. I have no ip connection, no dns, no wireless signal. Running 2.2. On the resources page the bridged internet with the intel wireless adapter is enabled but nothing! Any ideas. Wired connection works fine.
