Good morning group. A friend and I both have Parallels with Windows XP pro. We have both run every Windows update available. I have a 2.0GHz MacBook with 2GB RAM My friend has a 2.16GHz iMac with 2GB RAM The only big difference is I run AVG ant-virus and my friend runs Norton 2006 AV I have MS Office 2000 Pro My friend has Maptech Terrain Navigator Pro We have both installed Bonjour. This morning I stopped by my friends home with my MacBook and very near the end of installing the Cannon Print driver (came on the CD) I got the Blue Screen of Death and Windows automaticaly restarted. I can print to my laser printer with no problem. What do we need to do or what printers is everyone else running with Parallels and WinXP Pro? Please please please someone let us know what a good printer is????? Thanks in advance dale j
Canon Printers do NOT work with Parallels & WinXP Pro Here is a very late breaking update on the Canon printing problem with Parallels and Windows XP Pro. The following was written by Devin who works for Canon Technical Support. Unfortunately, Canon does not support networking of the printers across two different operating systems. You may wish to contact Apple for more assistance with this. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused by this. Sincerely, Devin Technical Support Representative
