Hey gang- I've been trying to come up with a good way to store files that would be accessed by two different Macs in my home office. The files would need to be accessible by the Mac side on both machines as well as accessible by WinXP running in Parallels build 3214 on both machines. It occured to me a neat solution might be the "Airport Disk" feature on the new Apple Airport Extremes. This is the option to plug a USB hard drive into the Airport Extreme and access that drive from any computer on your wireless network. So my question is, has anyone been able to access an "Airport Disk" from Windows running in Parallels? And if so, what configuration steps were necessary? Thanks! Dave
I remember reports coming to support about people successfully using such "Airport Disks", they should work fine with the latest PD 3.0 version, just keep in mind that you should update it to the latest build, 4560 currently. There are some known problems with earlier PD builds.
