Hi , I just installed parallels and Windows 7 and I am getting the following messege when I try to go online:

Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter.

I am on an an iMac, running the latest version of Snow Leopard, with 4Gb of Ram and 1TB of memory.

Please help me and please keep in mind that while I know Mac OS inside and out, I do not know windows all that well, so please be as specific and clear as you can, and spell out all the steps even the little ones. :)

    Thanks.

Does your virtual machine configuration include a Network Adapter?

Quit the virtual machine, then goto Virtual Machine menu -> Configure... menu item -> Hardware tab. If you don't see any Network Adapters in the list of Hardware, add one by clicking the + button and selecting Network Adapter.

You have 3 types of networking to choose from. Look for "Networking in a Virtual Machine" in the Parallels Desktop Help for more information.

I’m sorry for the troubles you’re having. To solve the problem as quickly as possible I recommend submitting a support ticket with the Parallels team http://www.parallels.com/support/
