    New here...

Can I use the disk that came with my Dell to load the MS Windows XP OS? The CD is marked to be used only with the Dell, however if possible I'd like to use this software instead of purchasing XP again.

    Thanks.

I believe it isn't legal regardless of whether you have it installed on your Dell or not, since OEM licenses are not transferable.

Also, from what I know the dell oem windows xp cd will look for certain things that are embedded inside the dell bios in order to correctly install and activate, since those do not exist on the mac or inside the parallels emulated bios, you will most likely not be able to completely install/activate that copy.
